Congratulations to our boys’ curling team, MHSAA provincial champions! The team includes Matt D., Jordan L., Aiden P. and Jeff B. Our girls’ curling team finished 5th the provincial championship. Read the Canstar article.

2010 marks the 18th year that Linden Christian School has had a sports program, and the 10th year for High School sports. During that time the WINGS have earned some significant recognition:
- 90 Championship banners
- 4 Provincial Banners
- 2 Provincial Championships
- 6 Provincial All-Stars
- 2 Provincial MVPs
- 12 LCS Athletes selected to Graduating All-Star teams
- 7 LCS Athletes selected as MHSAA Athletes of the Week
- 5 LCS Athletes chosen for prestigious “Players Choice” award
- 4 Coaches selected to coach Grad All-Star games.
- 4 Athletes selected to All Manitoba team
- 3 MHSAA Coaches of the Month
- 3 MHSAA Coaches of the Year
- 2 Individual Gold medals at the MHSAA Provincial track meet
- 1 Track and Field Provincial record
Other noteworthy facts:
- Consistent significant spiritual growth and skill development from many student-athletes
- All players from grades 5 - 8 have opportunities to play
- Over 1/3 of our grade 5 - 12 students are involved in school-based athletics
- Numerous teams have been involved in service projects
- 1992: LCS school sports inaugural year; name "Wings" chosen based on Isaiah 30:41
- 1994-2010:16 years hosting annual LCS MY tournament
- 2010: JV boys advance to JV Urban Provincial Semi-Final – highest JV Finish ever for LCS.
- 7 years: Co-hosted ‘BIG Spike’ Varsity volleyball tournament (largest tournament in Western Canada )
- 4 time host of Provincial Championships
- 2 Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association Sportsmanship Awards.
- 15 LCS alumni involved in coaching l program.
- 14 LCS Athletes moved on to play sports at College / University level
Former NBA great David Robinson said “My faith is the most important thing in my life. It affects everything I do.” This is our prayer for our student-athletes: that their faith affects the way they play sports, and that God would be glorified through LCS Athletics.
